The RFD on this cell over I-70 near Hoxie, KS, on May 29, 2008, created a very potent gust front and boiling sky.  I think this image captures the size of the storm as the cars in the image appear faint and small.  I love when I can capture scale to this degree.
Wicked winds whipped out of the north (moving from right to left in this shot) as this outflow-dominant storm moved gradually east near Altus, OK, on May 27, 2008.  We stopped under the gust front and were treated to high winds kicking up red dust under blue clouds.  I liked the colors even if the photo itself is not stupendous.
