stormdoctor > In retrospect, I believe that this likely is a cold funnel: a feature that forms when a cold upper level disturbance moves over warmer lower level warm updrafts.  This storm never showed any rotation on radar, but the funnel was very distinct and visually the storm itself appeared to rotate for a short period before it literally fell apart in a 15 minute span.  Very cool.
